Dear boys,

A gentle reminder that there will be early dismissal (12.30 p.m.) this Friday, and next Mon - Wed. Kindly  inform your parents to make the necessary transport arrangements for these four days.

The class blog has been created for a couple of months already and I'm sure all of you are aware that the webmasters, Wentuo, Cheng Yat, Xan & David have been dutifully updating the blog each day so that some of you are "reminded" to finish up your assignments on time.

Today, one of your parents told me that she felt you guys have done a wonderful job in updating the homework so far and I concur. Definitely! Though I was wondering if she would add on and comment that creating a class blog has been very helpful, she did not...Well, despite that, I hope that most of you find the blog helpful & informative to some extent. Do try to visit the blog now and then. 

Good things do not last forever; I hope everyone is appreciative of the efforts placed by your classmates - be it ensuring that every piece of update is accurate... to trying to crack a joke to lighten up the atmosphere :)

I might be on MC on Thursday so if I'm not around, Science Reps (Anselm & Yiheng), please go to my table during recess time and pick up the 2012 CT 1 MCQ booklet. Distribute to everyone  and it's due on Mon. Remember to time yourself to simulate the exam setting: 30 mins. 

There is  also early dismissal tomorrow at 12.30 pm so kindly remind your parents to pick you up at the correct timing.

Dear boys,

I hope you are busy preparing for your upcoming exams!
Some gentle reminders to take note on a rainy afternoon:

1. New Cafe at Secondary School
Do note that you are only allowed to purchase food/drinks from the cafe after 2.15 p.m. every day, not 1.45 p.m.

2. P5 Common Test 1 & Soccer (7 - 14 May)
You have been repeatedly reminded by your subject teachers to cease all soccer and activities during this period that will cause you to perspire heavily. This is a measure that we are taking to reduce the incidence of accidents occuring during the exam period. Do utilise this time properly to revise for your papers. However, it has come to our attention that some of you continued with your soccer game during recess time today. At 2.30 p.m., I saw two boys at the parade square, playing soccer.

Closer to and during the exam period, you are strongly encouraged to go back home as soon as lessons are over, instead of hanging around after school.

I understand that it may be difficult for some of you. Hence, if you feel that you are unable to live without soccer in sch the next few days, kindly get your parents' approval and write me a letter to allow you to continue with your games.

3. CHS Family Day 2013 (6 July)
A quick update on the forms you had received today. Earlier, I had mentioned that our class has adopted one of the stalls for family day and each of you will be chipping in $15 to adopt the stall.

Latest news: Pupils are NOT required to chip in to adopt a class game stall this year!
However, through this new initiative, the school hopes that you will continue to show your support by purchasing more game coupons. So do try to purchase more than 1 game coupon ya? :)

Pls return the green, beige and yellow forms by this Friday (10 May)
Nil return is required.

For those whose names were taken down by the disclipline committee for long hair, hope you have managed to find time to visit the barber. There will be another round of checking soon.
